I am trying to remove a file from an HP Pavilion a305w
desktop computer.  
This file is in the registry under run and runonce, every

I have experienced a weird issue with windows explorer:
Every time I open windows explorer if I look for files
and try to open a file in the view window, it then pulls
up a seperate window that is searching for the actual

OK i am really starting to get annoyed with this damn pc.
For the past couple of weeks it has been cripled by

Having a problem with Windows XP shutdown on Compaq
Presario 5000. Instead of a complete shutdown, system will
reboot. After disabling 'restart after failure' I get

I have a Dell Dimension 2350 P4 2.0ghz 256 RAM running XP
Home (OEM) SP1. No 3rd party stuff starting up at boot.
Perfmon shows the processor pegged at 100% constantly.
Processes shows SVCHOST.EXE using anywhere from 70 to 85%

The Windows XP (Pro) Update page keeps telling me the same
9 updates are needed, but I've downloaded and installed
them several times.  I'm having problems with blaster worm
