Whenever I'm connected to the Internet, I get this
message:"The system will shut down in 60 seconds. This was
called from NT Authority\System. Then thesystem will
restart. Any solutions?

My son was visiting some malicious sites and after he
attemped to remove some of their programs from the
computer, it crashed.  Now when he turns it on he gets a
blue screen with the Fatal System Error message.  What do

I was sick of diskeeper so I uninstalled it.  Now I can't
defrag at all.
I figured I would still have some form of Windows XP
defrag utility.  Appears I was mistaken.

coputer freezes and sometimes crashes when playing games
with cd rom also i cant burn discs pc freezes when i
insert a disc or it just wont read disc

Facing the same problem as  Joy & Molson. My Disk Cleanup wizard is not
working, it would start and afater showing "searching compressed files",
just stops. I tried to run it fron start - run - "cleanmgr", but that gives
no response at all. any suggestions?

I have recently had problems with windows xp and the time
it takes to load personal settings on start up. Who ever
tries to log on gets an error message saying system cant
find file C:\WINDOWS\bsx5.dll

i have redirected the my documents folder to a partition named g:\
so the new path is g:\documents and settings\steve\my documents ( have done
this by right clicking the my docs folder and editing the target location).

I am trying to use group policy in XP-Home and it tells you to add it from the snap-ins list, but it is not listed there, how can I get it there.

When I click my Activate logo, a mini-box returns with, "Cannot Activate your copy of XP due to local scripting." What the heck does that mean? What do I do now?

i have read many articles on partitioning in xp and most advocate a seperate
programs parrtition. does anybody know how to change the default location
for program files folder.
i have a partition labelled P:\ and have installed all of my programs onto

Anyone know what this 20 kb .exe file does? Spybot does not pick it up and
I've seen zzb.exe running from time to time on my processes tab. It shows up
in the C/windows/system32 folder only.

My hard drive now has LOTS of files labeled
NTServicePackUninstall ant Wondows XP Hotfix... and also
related to PC Health.
How can I safely delete these hundreds of files?

Windows XP ran scandisk and automaticaly deleted several
files one of which is my final year project, I have some
of it backed up but have lost alot! Does anyone know how
to undelete files in windows xp?
