I installed a PCI Card USB2 Firewire combo card in my Win
ME computer over a year ago and it functioned properly in
both Windows and in DOS (using Norton Ghost with included
Iomega USB2 drivers).  I used it successfully for a year

In disc cleanup there is an option to delete temp files
but it says you can
safely delete them only if they haven't been modified in
the last week....

My computer does not shut down, log off, restart or
switch users sometimes.  It comes up with a dialogue box
with DEVLDR or something like that on it.  It tells
to "end now" or "cancel", but it just seems to lock up

Since friday evening February 13 our windows xp home
edition has been operating extremely sluggishly.  I was
using the computer around 5pm and it was working fine.  
Later, when I started to use around 9pm, it was messed

the PC to respond is to cycle it off and back on. Major
headache when I'm online and/or in the middle of

After auto loading the above update this morning, on re-
booting the system, the performance is very slow. Any
attempt to access any applications on the hard drive takes
forever to load.

In Win 98 I could use the System Configuration Utility to
keep programs from auto-starting when Windows started.  
How can I do this in Win XP.  
Note: The programs do not show up in the Startup folder.

I'm running into a repeat problem of blue screen crashes.  
I haven't been able to read the full report as it flies by
but researching via System Information and the Windows
Reporting Tool leads me to believe that this error message

I am unable to run disk clean-up. It immediately stalls
when I try to run it. I have gone through all the normal
troubleshooting procedures but this has not solved the
problem. Any ideas.
