Since downloading Critical updates I have lost
(a) Power Management...it tells me that "two revision
levels are incompatible"
(b) Standby  not operating

tech support is baffled.  i get my background but no
windows operations, but explorer shows in task manager
processors, and you can operate in safe mode, although
some operations will bog.  virus clean, and adware clean.

I was working in safe mode and can not return to normal
mode.  Use f12 and changing to normal mode using f8 does
not return the system to normal mode.  Any suggestions

I am getting the following error codes after a Blue Screen
of Death...(error codes are listed at the end of this post)

Platform XP Professional.
When using Lotus Approach data base I constantly get
message saying "out of memory" I have 256 meg. of ram and
a 13 gig hard disk. On another computer using windows 95

My system won't turn off or restart. I click on either
choice and nothing happens. I have a HP a250n PC with 1 GB
of RAM, and all of the latest XP Updates.

I switched off the themes option in the Services window in
Administrative tools as I heard that it saves memory. Now
I have that Windows98 look. I want back my REAL XP look
and I have tried a million times to turn it back on but it

When I boot up to the login screen, it seems OK, then I
logon and it seems to take a long time to go from the
welcome screen into the windows programs, is there
something I can do to speed this up?
