I need to know how to download software updates e.g. SP-1
to a CD on a PC with a broadband connection in order to
update the OS on a PC with only a dialup connection.

I have installed XP on my computer and after installing several programs, the start button is locked. I can start all programs with the icons and I can also rightclick on the start button and get to my programs that way
Using the Windows button on my keyboard doesn't work either
