Since loading the new critical patch my computer has been achingly slow. I know it is the patch as no one else in my workgroup has loaded it yet and they are all fine. Has anyone else had this problem 0 and hoiw can I fix it?

My System Restore Points only stay on the calendar for a few days and then disappear.Can't go back to the previous month's calendar either. It used to work fine. Any help would be much appreciated. I can't seem to find any

How can I increase my processor speed in windows xp? It is a Pentium 4, 3.06Ghz but it is only running at 1.6Ghz. How can I maximize its performance - thats why i chose it after all. Tom

Whenever I boot up my computer, my floppy drive runs and runs. I have to put a floppy in it to get it to stop making so much noise, but then it scans the floppy for ever and ever and slows my whole computer down big time.
