My computer keeps freezing but it does it whenever it
seems to feel like it . . . it has a mind of it's own!  I
have used one of those pc doctor things to try and
diagnose the problem and it came up with 74 problems.

If I leave the computer running while I go put on the
coffee or tend to chores I come back to find it frozen,
the mouse pointer stuck where I left it on the screen.

Normally when you press Control, Alt, Delete to bring up
Task Manager, There are three tabs plus Cancel/Exit
buttons.  When I press Control, Alt, Delete I am only
getting the inside task window so I can kill a task, but

Where can I find the last time that the hard disk was defragmented? Do I have to search somewhere in the registry and if so where exactly? Before in Windows 98 I would know just by clicking  the tools tab in the Local Disk Properties window.
