I need to repair my XP Home installation using the recovery console.
But I cannot logon to the installed system. When the recovery console
starts there is noch choice to log on and the command "logon" only
produces a blank line.

'hint' of "old".  Is this some sort of spyware? I have
Spybot and AdAware and run scans regularly.  Where is

I just did a format C and now my system keeps shutting down. I can work on my desktop for 5-8 minutes and then an error message appears and says it is a RPC error and must end. It then counts down from 60 seconds to 0 and restarts. How do I stop this
