Can someone please provide a solution or suggestion for
the following dilemma? Each time I boot-up, I have a long
delay before I can use the system, as Mcshield.exe goes
through a lengthy hang-up prior to abending. It is only

I have a 60 gig hard drive, 256 on the board.  I just
installed XP because I was told it handles memory better,
and it does.  I was just working in MSWord and I could
not save my letter because the hard disk was full.  I had

I have been having difficulty scheduling backups using the
built-in backup utility in WIN XP Pro. I keep getting a
message "0x8007007a: The data area passed to a system call
is too small"

closing Outlook Express:"The memory could not be written".

I faguely remember reading somewhere or finding a program that would delete
these folders.
These are KB and Q folders. I know if I delete them I will not be able to
uninstall xp fixes or upgrades, however by deleting these folders you can

I recently bought a new HD and installed XP Pro. After the
initial POST screen, I'm getting this annoying black
