I have been experiencing very slow performance lately.
When I get to the welcome screen, computer hangs there
for up to 7 minutes before my desktop appears. Also,
cannot always access my start button. Only programs on

Till yesterday things seemed to go south, but today  
looks like the evil knocked on my door. I have had
several Restore Points on my PC. Once I opened
Windows "System Restore" Program, all the RPs were gone.

I had Norton's SystemWorks 2003 installed and recently
removed it. When I did the recycle bin changed. Now I
only have the icon on the desktop and when I click it
nothing happens or it seems to be looking for it.

Does anybody out there know the command to write to a CD from the XP command
line. I'm trying to do scheduled backups to a CDRW but don't know how to
schedule the actual writing process.
It seems like the easiest way to do this is run the command in a batch file.
