When I downloaded and installed xp service pack 1 express
from the windows update page, computer kept rebooting, and
never would start up. I had to remove the service pack
with system restore before my computer would work again.

All the time my computer keeps "Not Responding", I loose my internet connection and sometimes everything just crashes and my computer shuts down without warning. I have defragmented, disk cleanup. I dont know what else to try as this is so frustrating every couple of hours!!!!!

backup routine on HD similar to that found on Windows
