I have discovered a program listed in the Add/Remove column which is no longer installed but the name is still there and will not remove. Is there a way to do that? The old version of TweakUI would do it but the new version won't.

i recently had to boot from cd to repair a file. since then i get this message that the RPC has lost connection or something to that effect and it gives me 1 min to shut down all programs and logout before it forces shutdown
