I'm a soldier in the Army in Korea..  My problem is my XP
system is severly lagging, and has all the symptoms of

Before I re-installed Windows XP I could run the "Scanreg"
command which would check the registry for errors then
make a back-up which I found very handy.However,since I

I've tried to defrag more than once now starting with 2.59GB of 17.08GB (15%) free on a NTFS system. The program runs fine, I restart the computer and then run the defrag. and select "analyze". I would it expect it to tell me that my disk doesn't need to be defragged but it does? ...

Don't know if this is the right newsgroup for this. Went
into "Add or Remove Programs" to see if anything odd has
been placed on my hard rive (I've had highjacking woes
recently) and I see a lot of Windows XP Hotfix programs

I have a mobo Intel D865PERL and suports SATA and Raid.
