my desktop runs xp and it is currently in safe mode but
when i try to change the mode using the F8 key at startup
and choose normal mode nothing happens.  I also do not
currently have system restore enabled and cant enable it

Does anyone know how to use Windows XP Pro to view the

ok my anit virus wont start up when i got to services.msc
from run, ok eveery time i do a system restore, i go inot
my anti virus program(symantec anti virus client and i
check teh boxes to enable file system real time protection

I try to remove from my registry entries by altnet using
reg editor.I can not delete altnet entries which are
Altnet/Dashboard/ Settings. I can not access settings and
delete any other entries. I know that it is part of Kazaa

I got a virus called "Trogan.ByteVerify" & it screwed

I have a prob with my winXP changing the focused window
when:
I have multiple windows open.
I move the mouse off the currently active window, that
