Is it possible to set the display propeties at less than
800x600 in xp pro? If so, how do i do it please (other
than getting a new monitor).  The monitor i am using will
only support 640x

i started cleandisk.  canceled it before it was done.  no
my system has slowed big time and it wont let me
systemrestore to maybe fix the problem.  if i start
cleandisk now it gets three bars completed and hangs..

The latest Windows Updates cause my PC to reboot whenever
I am trying to update my windows via the Microsoft update
website. I have only managed to automatically install 3
out of the 6 new updates.

I upgraded to XP Home and I can no longer boot up with
512 (2 256 cards) of RAM installed.  If I backoff my RAM
to 384 (2 cards 128 and 256) everything seems to be
fine.  I have eliminated the cards as the problem and my

my laptop is constantly shuting down automaticly...it
leaves a one-minute countdown saying something about the

I have been receiving blue screens. It has happened twice
today that i know of and has happened infrequentley
before. It does matter what we are doing on the computer
whether it's in sleepmode, screensaver of being used.

My computer "locks up" every so often.  It is happening more and more frequently.  I am running XP. I have 128K RAM with a 2.4G processor.  What can I do to stop this?

Hi, Can anyone help me?? When I start my PC with XP home
edition the following errors occur. I have copied them
