.. for some reason my Automatic Updates keeps downloading and installing update number 835732 .. I have downloaded and installed it at least four times and it's now asking to download again!! .. what's going on??

I"m having problems trying to completing defragmenting. It goes through analizing followed by defragment for about 4 minutes. Then both the before and after usage spaces fill up and look exactly alike. the moving files progress bar shows 1% completed nd won't go further.

From other postings, I've gotten the distinct impression that JV16 is considered one of the best registry cleaners around. I've been using it with some nervousness as I see so many entries that I could/should remove.

I'm having problem installing McAfee VirusScan. Their site gives some pretty simple directions to fix the problem. Includes typing "regedit" in the run box and then following some directions.

my computer has been freezing up on a frequent basis lately. when i look in the event log i get messages that read "wmdm pmsp service" and "winlogon" is this what's causing my computer to freeze or am i off base here?
