Keep getting notice that VM paging file is too low?! I
have so few programs on this machine that I shouldn't be
anywhere near the virtual memory capacity....I

I can't seem to get system restore to restore my system
setting.  I've used it before with no problems. I keep
getting the message "windows restore was unable to
restore your system"

Can anyone tell me why do I get the message
"xmnt2001 program not found - skipping AUTOCHECK"

In trying to make SFC Scannow work with my Dell 8100 system, I keep getting
asked to insert my XP setup disc.  The XP disc provided by Dell does not

After creating a task in the Task Scheduler with a
frequency of 5 minutes when the task fires it increments
the Next Run Time by 4 hours.
How can I get this task to fire at the required 5 minute

Using Windows XP Home Edition, Windows Explorer shows the wrong icons for
.htm and .mht files. It shows instead some generic icon that looks like a
page with three dots in the middle of it. I've gone to Tools>Folder
Options>File Types and selected the correct icons for these type ...

brand new win xp home edition on virgin computer,went to
microsoft downloads and downloaded all critical system
updates and patches, now when i start up my computer the

under "Temp."  When I try to delete them, I get an error
message:  "Cannot delete: Cannot read from the source
file or disk."  The file says that it has 0 Kb.

I have a new Dell computer with Windows XP home edition.

when i click on my computer in start up no folder can be
found as the flashlight symbol moves around and it takes
about 5 min for the folders to be found can anyone
