All of a sudden when I hit shift delete, the computer hangs for 10 seconds or so before confirming delete, it used to take less than a second??? Any ideas? Thanks in advance

OK, I've run into this annoyance before but it just recently started happening again since my last Windows Update (which seemed fairly innocuous, updated the "Buy Music" link or something). Most of the recommendations I see are to get the user profile hive cleanup

Maybe a worm did this I didn't. It will not reenable my restore button. It says a driver cannot be found for this to work. How do I reinstall this so it works???? Everything else on the computer is working.
