All of a sudden when I hit shift delete, the computer
hangs for 10 seconds or so before confirming delete, it
used to take less than a second???  Any ideas?

OK, I've run into this annoyance before but it just recently started

I'm using Win XP Pro.  I bought a Western Digital HD 3-4 months ago
and after some usage, I found that quite a bit of the files stored on
that drive is corrupted.  I thought it's a problem with the drive so I
sent it back to WD.  Now, with the new one, I'm starting to experience

My computor has been giving me this alert
" N-case alert  system detected that a 3rd party
application has removed n-case possibly without your

Maybe a worm did this I didn't. It will not reenable my
restore button. It says a driver cannot be found for this
to work. How do I reinstall this so it works????

I tried to upgrade from XP Home to XP Professional.  The
first time I tried it I didn't like Professional so

lot of files that are listed as "Win XP Hotfix (See
KBXXXXXX) and (QXXXXXX).  X=numbers that are after the
