How do I disable HID in services, and will this disrupt
anything else?

In outlook Express, my spell checker has quit working. It
says I have to have microsoft works. I do have Microsoft
works. HELP

I was updating my friends computer to XP pro service pack
1 and it failed.  bad news.  windows wont boot fully.  it
goes all the way up until the logon screen, then shuts the
computer down!!!

How can I fix MICROSOFT VISUAL C++ RUNTIME ERROR?

everytime i set my home page to a specific page, it
always resets itself to (res://mshp.dll/index.html#37049)
and when i try to open up certain sites it constantly
sends me back to a windows home search page, saying page

when I click on free up hard drive space it won't open.

I am having problems with system restore and one solution I saw said to reinstall system restore from the xp cd, will doing this overwrite the stored restore points?

I've just put another stick of Ram into my motherboard and
ever since then the floppy drive doesn't work properly
i.e. the light comes on but it says the disc's are not
formatted when there's data on them.

I get this Presario in December and try to activate the
Symantic Virus.  Doesn't work right.  So I install my old
virus program.  Shortly after, I start getting this
message at the computer start up - Can not find System

Does anybody know if Microsoft (or someone else) found a
solution for Knowledge Base article Q823439 - "Cannot Open
Volume for Direct Access" Error Message When Chkdsk Runs
at Startup?

In order for fins a script error, I was informed that I
needed to obtain the hot-fix acticle Q812400 and upcoming
article Q812960.  I have tried searching, and cannot
locate these articles.  How/where do I find them? Thanks

Have downloaded several componants of program.  I.E. When
using Home Publishing, Letters, goes through selecting
style, name , etc. but serves up an error after finish is
clicked and returns to opening page of HP

i'm trying to install win. movie maker on my pc and i get
this error message
"The windows installer cannot be accessed"
how do i fix that

When I would connect to the internet there would be an
icon and now it does not show when I am connected.  
Please Help!
