I am having problems with my computer.  I wish to totally
remove everything and then reinstall XP.  We are having
problems locating the book that came with the PC and
disks if there were any.  How do you go about clearing

My system keeps giving me the error  c:\windows\system32
\dllcache\sc.exe everytime I boot up.  Any suggestions?

My browsers, IE and Netscape, cannot access secure sites.  This problem cropped up all of
a sudden, they were working fine.  I contacted Cox and they spent quite a bit of time with me
going through all the configurations for IE (Privacy, Security, etc).  Nothing solved the problem. ...

    Chkdsk stops at 60 % with "unspecified error" during
file data verification.  I tried reinstalling Windows XP

My PC takes at least 10 minutes to get to the windows
logo screen.  After i select a user, it takes another 5
minutes to finish start up.  I notice in task manager
that i have over 60 processes running after starting up.  

I'm not very technically minded and am having real trouble with my
machine.
I run a firewall (sygate?) and norton but I think something wrong.
I had a disk clean up scheduled every Friday but a couple of weeks ago

All at once the English langage was changed to Dutch,in

At present I have two installations of WinXP on separate disks but can run
