When I try to edit the rigistry I get error message "
Registry editing has been disabled by your
administrator ".
How do I enable this, as I am the administrator?

Since rebooting my windows xp, I have been experienceing
problems with the systen once it goes into standby mode.  
Upon returning to use the computer it is completeley
frozen.  Even the power on/off button has no effect.  The

Am able to access every other folder irregardless of where it points to
with no error.  When I try to click on the font folder thru Control Panel
or thru explorer directory I get an explorer error that show 0 value for

when i click on anything from start or an icon it will
take a very long time to run or it will not run at all.
for example when i click on a AIM icon it will show the
little loading thing next to the pointer as if it is

Symantec Ghost and Acronis True Image.  They look like very
good products, but I do a weekly backup of my data files
