Good morning. For some reason System Restore is no longer
keeping automatic or manually created restore points.
Could you please advise me how to rectify this. I am new
(ish) to xp, had it been 98 I would have reloaded the

Every time I go to open a file folder or program, I am automatically redirected to the search companion.  If I want a folder or program to open I must right-click on the object and then scroll down to open....search is the first option on this menu.
