I have a new motherboard, but suddenly am having an
insistant musical alarm that sounds like a British police
car alarm.  Shutting down is the only solution so far.

Can't use some of my programs, such as "Picture it Publishing".  When I try to open I get a message that says that I don't have enough memory.  I can't remember the steps to free up resources.  Can anyone walk me through them?

Recently there were some folder/files deleted by mistake so I did a restore to a previos time that I know these folder/files were in tact. When I tell it to restore a little red box comes up and it works for a few seconds and then reboots. Everything works ok but the folder/files ...

After a power outage, chkdsk keeps running at startup on
my dynamic disk. It never finds anyhting wrong buit hte
event log say's that the drive is corrupt. How do I go
about disabling chkdsk so it will not run on startup.

I upgraded to XP from 98 ME hoping that would fix some
problems. I'm missing restore. Disk defrag won't work.
Have no windows explorer. Any suggestions?

I have Word 2003, WordPerfect ver-10 (2002) and was beginning to test Wordperfect ver-12.  After 2 days of using all these programs I became unable to use ANY of the installed Windows Fonts in these programs. I am still able to use all fonts in Excel 2003.

Just added a 60G hard drive as Device 1 on primary IDE
channel.  Device 0 runs in Ultra DMA mode 2, but Device 1
is running in PIO mode.  I have uninstalled the driver--
still doesn't work.  

i have been haveing alot of problems with windos 64bit and
