Computer restarts instead of shutdown30 Jun 2004 07:24 GMT2
When I try to shut down the computer in WinXP professional, it restarts
instead of shutting down. Any ideas?

I have some kind of program that got installed itself on
my lap top computer. I believe it is responsible for
annoying pop-ups. I am unable to remove it by regular
procedure in a control panel. It says in German that it

Everytime I am logging off my computer iexplore.exe is
hanging.  Computer doesn't want to log off unless I hit
end task.
