Everytime I start the computer this message appears after I go to the desktop. If I decide not to send error report it doe something to the desktop and im only left with a few program icons at the bottom right of my page.

When I turn on the computer error messages appear and they don't go away. Example: "DrWatson Postmortem Debugger has encountered a problem..." or "WMI has encountered a problem..." I click send error message, then click close

I was forced to use a "RECOVERY DISK" to re=install my Windows XP. I can NOT get works or Microsoft WORD....which were both on when I got my original Windows with the computer.

Whenever I check on help/support I get the error message "helpctr.exe is not a valid win32 application." Also, when I go to standby and come out of it, my disk drive sounde weird, which it never does on booting or out of hibernate. Thanks for your help

how do I tell if I am logged on as the administrator? I'm the only one that uses my computer. I can't get the default setting to stay on microsoft they change back to custom everytime i hit ok and close the window. Thanks
