Goodnight everybody,
I've installed SP2 over my XP Pro SP1 + all updates system. The problem I
have is when I start up the computer or when I reboot, I can see the
"Welcome" screen and I can hear the usual start music, but then my computer

After starting up Windows through the recovery console CD
that came with the computer, and selecting "R" to repair,
I am taken back the blue screen I have been getting and
posted previously about.  

When I reboot I get a message"ERROR: Could not excute
Main; The system could not find the file.
I click OK and the message closes and the machine seems
to work fine. Do I need to do anythig?

I attempted to 'Upgrade' Message received was "Unable to
install" and go to Start>Run>Type- services.msc etc. I
followed all instruction but to no avail. I have sent
query to Microsoft Online Help but no answer as yet.  Can

I am in the fortunate position of having an external USB hard drive of double
the capacity of my main drive. My idea was to partition the drive with the
first partition exactly the same size as my main C Drive and then have this

hello, right now i have 512 mb of ram, 2.66 ghz, and i have a intel extreme
vidio card with 64 mb's on it. I want to either  upgrade to a gig of ram, or
get a new video card, which would be a better decision?  i appreciate any

each time I startup XP plus tons of time for every step I

I have an eMachines T1120 running Windows XP Version 2002. My disk cleanup
has froze up. When I open the disk cleanup it shows three bars lit on the
