I don't use internet expolorer, instead I use AOL. And whenever I get on AOL internet expolorer pops up everywhere. Is there any way you can uninstall internet expolorer?

A problem came up a couple weeks ago, the first time I rebooted after an optional Windows Update. I logged in as a non-Admin user, the system said it was checking user preferences (or something like that) and showed an hourglass and didn't go much beyond that.

I'm trying to reinstall windows, however when I load the re-installation cd, it says that there is a newer version on my computer than what there is on the disk? How is that so and how can I change that? Thanks!
