Out of the blue so to speak my start up time is about 2 minutes.Windows XP. 768 Ram. P4 1.8 gh 250 g hard drive. This is the Error message I get in the Event Center: Event ID: 7026

I have dell desktop, its working fine but when i try to shut down, some time it does not shut down, some time it takes 4-5 minutes and while shutting down it shows thats its ending some programs like ccAPP and some others like this. What may be the problem how can i resolve this?

I have 2 hard-drives. The 1st hard drive is nearly full. The 2nd hard drive has lots of space. When I try to move files/programs, etc from hard drive #1 to the 2nd one to have more space, Some of the programs don't run, or malfunction. Not sure how to make the best use of the ...

I recently bought an 80 GB external drive to use as a backup to my computer. I ran XP's Backup Utility and directed it to send files and folders to the new drive. I am only backing up about 10.1 GB, but received the following error (not sure why, since the new drive is 80 GB!):

Using WXP Home (completely up to date with updates). I have recently installed a gigabyte wireless adapter, to share a cable internet connection thru a gigabyte wireless router. (ie there is a cable modem and wireless router - connected to an "other PC" by cable)
