there are a lot of file in the C:\Windows\Installer directory using up hundreds of megabytes of space. Whgy are these install files saved? Is it safe to delete them? Are they required to un-install software later? - jmd

It seems that synctoy does not support UNICODE file name (In my case written in hebrew) because I repeatdly get error: "Exception during preview: Value was either too large or too small for an unsigned byte"

Hello, this is my first time to post here. As we know, recently MS published KB908531 as a solution to MS06-015. One of the new things included in 908531 is verclsid.exe. However, when I installed the patch and reboot, some of my programs crashes when verclsid.exe run.

Suddenly, when I click on a link to a email address or another site, it slows down and then I have a box in my lower tray that says I have 56 Internet Explorer windows open - and I do! I have to manually close them because the right click "Close Group" does not work.
