Some how my system restore pionts got deleted.  how can this happen and

After I defragment (any partition), I get a message box saying that
defragmentation is complete and that some files couldn't be defragmented. It
asks me to see the "Report" for a list of those files.
But when I click "View Report", there are no files there!
