While trying to uninstall Antivirus software and install another updated version some files have become corrupted. As soon as I open Windows (XP Home) I get the window Run Time Error “File ’53 Not Found”, then Run Time Error “File ’70 Access Denied”

When I click My Computer, a little flashlight come up and it takes a while to populate the drives. It also takes a while to find drives when I try to save. Why is this happening?

I have a user that has a laptop with Windows XP Pro and I need to put a new hard drive in it. Can Windows backup be used to backup the entire C: drive to tape and restore to a new hard drive? Will it backup all the files including open files? Should I use Norton Ghost instead? ...

I am trying to debug a very slow startup but bootvis dies with an error: "number of logical drives in this configuration is 0, invalid system information". Does anybody what is the reason for this error? Is it because my system is on a RAID?
