The last few days I have noticed lines appearing around icons, on website
buttons, and around the mouse pointer. It also puts black and green lines in
videos when played. I have searched all over and can't find an explanation
for this.

I have purchased a new machine with XP MCE 2005. I want to copy files from an
old XP Home machine: I've installed the old drive as a slave in the new
machine to do this but I keep getting read-only attributes notation and when
I change attributes I get " access denied".

windows stops and displays an error screen. the error message detail displayed
"win32k.sys"
Does this mean that this file is corupt?
Do I need to reinstall windows?

When i choses the suspend mode or my laptop chese this mode by it self (in
case of battary working or so on) the Laptop does not come back to normal
working with all the opened programs the same condition as when it was before

I've been using skype for more than 6 months , but recently when I
start it , sometimes my computer restarts and it come up with serious system
error.Also when I start skype my computer begin to slow down ???
Is this issue related to recent update of skype ?

Hi, I tried to run a disk defrag on my computer when i went to do so this
message came up, Disk Defragmenter has detected that Chkdsk is scheduled to

My pc always run diskcheckup everytime I open my pc. Can I disable it?

(1.79 GHz, 448 MB RAM, WinXP)  I have 3 users on this PC, have recently added
256 MB memory. Here is the report I got this morning:

I have 3 xp home pc's that when you try to shutdown or restart it hangs on
the "logging off" screen.  I have left them for hours and still nothing
happens.  Otherwise they work great.  All have the latest patches installed.  
Any help or ideas would be helpful.
