I have followed the instructions via knowledge base to the letter re modifying the registry etc., but I still get the same message when I try to open HELP AND SUPPORT. Limited tech knowledge so a step by step solution would be appreciated.

I am using XP SP2 in my laptop.. I dont get any hibernation tab in the power options widow... Also the "STANDBY" option is grayed out in the shutdown menu.. i dont know how to get it back..

My full exported registry is 70mb, but the System State.bkf is 400mb! This is great, I suppose, but I'd really like an explanation of what added files/features one gets with backup of system state. The MSKB sites explain how to use it, but nothing on what you are getting. ...

Pentium M 1.73GHz, 2MB RAM, 100GB HD, XP Home SP2 Over the past few weeks, my system performance has really degraded. Bootup is almost 8 minutes, programs take forever to load, and the HD is being accessed almost constantly.
