Whenever I create WORD documents I end up with a bunch of WRL1220.tmp files
on my desktop. When I close the document, the .tmp files disappear. Can
anyone tell me what the problem is?

My taskbar has disappeared from the desktop.  In the past, I had been able to

When I load Windows XP Home Edition, all the desktop icons fail to appear,
and the toolbar is also missing. It loads in safe mode, I have tried a system
restore and the problem still remains. The cursor still works although there
is nothing to click onto.

It has started taking over a minute to open My Computer. I just see
the hour glass and moving torch icon until eventually the entries
appear.

I have only 9% and you need 15% in order to run disk defrag. When I first
tryed to do a defrag I only had 3%. I did the disk clean up, removed all
unwanted files, cleaned temp files, ect. I don't know what else I could do in
order to clean up space. Any help is much appriciated. ...

  I just noticed that my pagefile had become pretty badly fragmented,
even though I had it set to 800 MB in size.  I thought setting a
single size was supposed to prevent this.

In Win XP SP2, I have an item named "System Analyzer". When I
double-click it, nothing happens. The context menu contains only
"Open" (which does nothing) and "Create Shortcut".

Despite firewalls, my computer was infected with the ej.exe, nj.exe, and
funk.exe viruses/trojan horses.  I was able to remove nj.exe with
anti-spyware programs, but none of my anti-virus or anti-spyware or
anti-trojan horse software was able to remove (or even recognize) ej.exe ...

My computer got re-formatted some days ago and ever since when the computer
is starting up (DOS mode) the monitor appears in "stand-by" mode. I turn the
monitor on and off but nothing happens untill i get to the "welcome" thingy
in XP.
