My computer will not fully defragment. It gets a small percentage through and
then stops saying "Some files could not be defragmented".
Please help.

I have some files that can't be opend or deleted. They have no file extension
(Yes, I used the option to show extensions for the folder). Windows explorer
says they contain 0 bytes. When I try to delete, I get an error dialog
thatsays:

Everytime I double click on ANY file to try and open it, the "Welome to
Windows Audio Converter" screen pops up.  I hit cancel then right click the

all of my data onto a removable USB hard drive.  When in the XP Setup I

OK....so heres the deal...about a month ago or so... Everytime I pressed the

I seem to be held up in startup while Windows WGA is phoning home.  My
software is all properly licensed.  Seems my startup is dependent on MS
