I use XP Home and have only one account, however, I always boot to the login
screen where I have to choose my account to continue startup.  Is there a way
to tell Windows that it is the default account and to automatically select it
and continue?

My windows xp computer is being really bad. When I push the button to
turn it on it will load for a few seconds then shut itself back off. It
won't even stay on long enough for anything to come up on the monitor.

I like WindowsXP, but don't appreciate the way it's gotten

I have bought and installed XPsp2 and want to re-install it for optimization.
