I have WinXP Sp2 and the PC died. It will try over and over to boot, getting
an error and the dreaded blue screen each time, ad infinitum.
Compaq System Recovery disks don't work. WinXP Sp2 floppy boot disks don't
work.

Every now and then my pointer will move either to the top or to the bottom
instantly without me doing anything. Its a pain when draging items and
playing Halo. Anyone know how to solve it?

I am still working on uninstalling ie7Beta3 which I have found under
HKEY_LOCAL.  You instructed to "export the file" in case it is needed once
again, but I don't know where to export the file to (maybe: how to export a

I tried to select WordPad instead of Notepad to edit .BAT files.
Somehow I screwed up.
Now .BAT files do not work. When I double-click on them, I just see the
contents of the .BAT file displayed by Notepad.

built 3 yrs ago. 768MB RAM in box. Radeon 7000 and 3com NIC.
Only bare minimum of apps on board.

Opened Help And Support.  It referred me to Q326510.  Did not work.  Then

I keep getting a message that my D drive does not have enough space on it. I
tried to defrag, but could not because of 0% space available. It's
partitioned FAT32, at 6.96GB with 49MB available. C-Drive is partitioned NTFS
and has a capacity of 226GB with 207GB free space ...

A while ago I got the trial version of InterVideo WinCreator 2, a program
from WinDVD and once the trial version ended I tried to remove/ uninstall the
program from my computer but everytime that I try to, instead of it saying
uninstall it stills install and it installs itself ...

I have files in my Documents folder that are causing the page to freeze when
I try to enter it, and then I need to press down ctrl/alt buttons and then
delete at the same time..I then get the Task Manager page, which tells me

I have had some probs with my pc and cleaned it using registry clean and
virus clean. Also removed some dodgy programs. when I updated Windows XP
there was around 50 Windows update installed, only diff is didges in the end?
Is that correct?

to a domain) won't run .bat files...which, of course, means it's not running
the login script too.
