    Wheb I go into tools to do a " Scan and attempt rocovery of bad
sectord. " The scan starts and completes phase 1 & 2 and then a message
comes up saying the scan can not be completed.
    Can anyone tell me why and/or how to correct this problem.

I am having a problem with my system.  Every once in awhile my screeen

I have a CD ROM that will not display any data.  Doesn't matter if its
a burnt disc or a music disc from the store. It sees the disc but
displays 0 bytes.
I have replaced the System Board, replaced the CD ROM drive.

Virtually every time I select Shut Down on the computer, it fezzes on the
"Shutting Down" page. I then have to turn the power switch off. Any
suggestions?

I'm wanting to partition my main hard drive for various reasons and I found I

I am using my local computer to test an ASP.NET application on a remote

every day now, I get another prompt to install a KB908531.  Is any one else
having this occur?  Any solutions other than 'keep installng it everyday' or
'ignore the prompt to install it'?
