Good day and thank you for reviewing this question. I was fixing to start up in Safe Mode so that I could run a virus detection program there versus in Windows XP. So I went to MSCONFIG, BOOT.INI, and chose SAFEBOOT, like I normally do.

I have just run disc cleanup now all my file colours have changed from black to blue text which is harder to read. Any ideas how I can change them back. System is working fine. Newer files since the clean up are still showing in Black type. Any help appreciated.

I found that pictures I have downloaded from web sites are now included in my selection of images for Desktop backgrounds. How did this happen and how do I delete them from this application?

My WinXP desktop has just started showing a window during the shutdown process. The window says explorer.exe is being shutdown. Press end to shutdown immediately, etc. This has either just started or I have never noticed it before. Why is this window displayed during shut down
