windoes will not open in normal mode it only opens in safe mode. in normal
mode it will take me to the desktop screen but will not display a start bar
or icons. also when i attempt to open any files in the controll panel or any
windows files such as update i am displayed an error ...

I have installed ERUNT to back up my register onto my "C" drive but if there
is a total failure and I cannot access my "C" drive this will be of no use,
so I  need to back up to a DVD to keep safe somewhere, so can anybody

At boot Windows checks the FAT32 file system on C: and reports that the
\pagefile.sys entry contains a nonvalid link, and that the size of the
\pagefile.sys entry is not valid. Further that \windows\dump9460.tmp is
crosslinked on allocation unit 2354418.
