Does anyone know where someone could find the proper steps/procedures to delete the files/folders that windows update leaves laying around? Exp. Directory “C:\Windows\$NtUninstallKB922616$” Can they be deleted without breaking Windows XP Home/Professional?

DVD used to run fine but has now stopped working.When I try to run a DVD I get this error message, e:\is not a valid win32 application. CD's will run on this drive with no problem. Any suggestions ?

I customize which icons to always show or always hide or the other, clicking ok after each custimization and applying the setting. This works for a little while then the icons assume different settings for reasons I can't understand.

When running a video or audio in a stand alone media player, it works fine. But I have not audio from media on web pages. Music on myspace, videos from Google, or YouTube, nothing. MOVs and MP4s from Apple's web page play with audio.

Put this query onto the 'xp help and support' forum and no one responded. This update, 925672, (MSXML 4.0, SP 2) keeps repeating itself, constantly re-installing/ re-updating on my computer.

With programms not starting, cpu runnng at 100% & all sorts of other problems, i thought it would be better just to format & start again. I've managed to get all my files off onto disc, only problem now is (just to add to the problems) shorty after i did this i put my restore ...

Hi again. I am using sonic record now but when I try to record to a printable cd sonic repeatedly asks for a blank disk, after inserting around ten I gave up and inserted a normal disk and it wrote to it with no problem,

My laptop (although only 15 months old) will, for no reason, shut right down....The only way I can restore it is to remove battery, leave for a couple of minutes, and then refit battery. The main supply is connected and the battery is fully charged....any ideas please?
