Downloading Internet Programs and Quicktime Movies20 Oct 2006 20:53 GMT3
When I try to download things, I get about halfway, and then it stops.
I tried to download quicktime, and an online casino, and I click "run",
and it goes for about 10 seconds, then sits where it is.  If I go back
and hit download, then run again, it will gain another bit, and stop

Hi, I forgot something.
I tried earlier with the Command prompt to see the pagefile but with NO
succes, although I can now see the pagefile.sys in the root directory of the
C drive in Window explorer.

I set all of my visual effects to allow for best performace, and it set the
control panel to a wierd setting. Now I can't find the performance and
maintenance icon. Could somebody tell me how to revert the control panel back
to normal?

In the Virtual Memory panel, if I tick the Custom size en put Initial size
on 2G and Maximum size on 3G (and push then the Set button), the WinXP starts
of with 763 MB after restart, instead of 2G.
If I then load a picture file of 1G, WinXP gradually increases the pagefile

Please can some one help me out,I dont know what I have done,but eveytime I
try to open or start a program a message this cannot run program in DOS MODE
keeps popping up in Notepad,my desktop menu,all my complete system programs

My system is running slow I looked in my task mrg. there are 56 items is this
normal?? It takes at least 23sec for Outlook to load everything eles is the
same way.
What should I do ??

A spyware discerning program suggests the following files on my computer are
dangerous.  How can I get confirmation of this/

I got my paging file set between 2G and 3G (512M RAM).  The system has
currently allocated 1.2G and I've been loading a 1G picture file.  So the
paging file works (well)!
But, I cannot find the paging file anywhere in the system.  I assume it is

But only happened when using at normal, but it didn't turn blue screen at
safe mode.

I am having problems with my win XP Pro installation or at least I think so?
I think this is so because I have been experinencing the dreaded Blue Screen
of Death (BSD) lately and the information on the BSD informs me that the
culprit is: Win32.sys! So, am I correct in thinking ...
