All of a sudden, I am having problems using Windows Explorer.  When I click

Which Method of Defrag10 Nov 2006 23:01 GMT2
MVP Mike Maltby once stated that the MS defrag and "other" utilities like
Diskkeeper Lite that I've used behave differently and probably one or the
other should be chosen versus a mix. With a new computer and new to XP (from
Me) I wonder what the latest thoughts are on what is ...
wscntfy.exe + svchost: CPU Use over 90%, Slow10 Nov 2006 20:48 GMT3
Occasionally, perhaps once every day or 2, my computer slows to a crawl. Upon
viewing the process list using Process Explorer, I see that wscntfy.exe,
running under an instance of svchost, is using 90+% of the CPU. This goes
away after a few minutes, but is very annoying.

Hard drive is full, But why10 Nov 2006 19:01 GMT6
I have a 20gig hard  drive and it is full. My computer OS is XP pro.
My computer worked fine for the longest time with games and all but the
hard drive slowly filled up.  So I removed all of the games and any
files that I don't use. And that freed up some space but not much. But
Windows doesn't work with dual core processors10 Nov 2006 15:08 GMT2
That's the only conclusion that I can reach at this point. After many
inquiries made by me, the manufacturer of my computer (Sonica Audio Labs) and
several unanswered posts to MS web forums, I can only conclude that there is
no way to make Windows XP Pro run on a machine with an ...
