VIACOM offers now its new Partition Commander claiming that it can do much
more then Partition Magic.  Switching to VIACOM gadget is tempting since I'm
trying to get rid of any Symantec/Norton leftovers from my system
(PartitionMagic was bought by Symantec).

Everytime I shut down my comp, it goes through the process but freezes and I
end up holding my pc power button to turn off my comp...in my point of view
that seems bad and I like to fix it. plz help

My yearly subscription to Sunbelt's CounterSpy and Sunbelt Kerio FW is
about to expire. Although my AV application (AVG Pro 7.5) is still
current, I was considering Microsoft OneCare.

I'm running XP Pro and have forgotten the DOS command(s) for DEFRAG.  Also,
how do I run it/them from the command line. Start--->Run--->cmd--->???????
Might there be a freeware app or two out there which does as good a job as
XP's own per above?

I am running 3.5 Gigs of RAM, 512 on the video card, 2 GHZ on the processor
yet Windows runs extremely slow especially when using Windows Explorer to

I have a very peculiar problem. I had windows XP home installed and
somehow the OS became corrupted and i could not login to my computer
because the keyboard was not responding.
