I defragged using Norton. It put teh pagefile.sys at the bottom of its graphical illustration of the hard disk -- meaning it is located at the END (far edge) of the physical disk. I like the pagefile.sys to be located as close to the center of the physical

I run Windows xp, servpk2, and IE7. After I down loaded "Adobe Reader 8.0" it placed an icon on my desktop which will not delete when I right click on it with my mouse. I un installed the program but the icon is still on my desktop and in the Start>All Programs menu, "Adobe Reader

I was wondering how I can change the priority level of a process permanently in Task Manager so everytime I log into windows and run the task for eg iexplorer.exe the priority level stays as 'high'. Fingers crossed someone can help.

I am running windows MCE 2005. when i start my pc and look in taskmanager ,there is a process running useing 45-50% cpu. It runs for 2 1/2 - 3 minutes then drops back to 0%. It is called (ehrecvr.exe)
