I'm trying to run a defrag on my PC and it all seemingly works ok.  However
it only gets to about 25% before coming up with the message saying the
defrag is complete and then presenting this report:

Some programs add to the MFU list, and others (standard exe) don't. The ones
that don't aren't in the exclude list, and the number of programs shown is less
than the number set to show.

Are there any software to pool the computers on a LAN (currently all running
winXP) to make one faster computer for CPU intensive tasks (e.g. video
compression)? It should speed up apps without requiring special
re-compilation, perhaps by emulating multi-processors.

I have a web page open, that I can not shut down. I tired the Ctrl, Alt,
+ Delete, but I get an error message that says "Task Manager has been
disabled by your administrator".  How do I enable it again?

While using PC my free space on C: is continually reducing even when not
running any apps (apart from XP!).   Unable to identify any particular
file/folder at fault or if a virtual mem problem. Latter is unlikely as
pagefile is on another physical drive & partition. Stats:

Needing XP Pro for work use to be able to connect to a domain I

i cant access the net i went into windows components and networking services
isnt ticked i cant tick it because i lost my disc. what do i do. do i have to
buy the whole xp thing so i can access the net or what please help
