My computer is slow.  Specifically, the menus under the
Start Menu is slow (each menu takes 4-5 seconds to
appear).  I have run anti virus software, and run the
System Tools (Defragmenter, ect.).  I have tried

When performing disc cleanup, I see that debug dump files, setup log files &
compress old files are not checked to be deleted.  "Compress old files"
(whatever that means) is quite large.  Should these boxes be checked &

I have a customer who has a DELL computer thats about 1 1/2 years old.  It
was working fine. Then one day, we tried to open some applications and it
would take forever for it to open.  Once opened, it worked fine.

My C: partition is only 2GB in size. I like it this way. I always run
everything from ANY partition other than C:. This is causing me one problem,
however: I cannot get Windows to NOT create a pagefile.sys file on this
drive.
