I tried to defrag my hard drive as it was almost completly in the red, even
though i  defraged it a month ago, and it did nothing. Is this much
fragmentation possible in 1 month can anyone help? I have a screen shot if it

uninstalled and installed CA Security, so far seems fine. I did try to go

I'm running XP Home. It's a mess. I've tried a bunch of things and decided to
back up the essential files and reformat the disk. It won't let me do it --
says an application is running and must be closed first. No application is
running that I can determine.

My mates compaq presario keeps crashing at boot.  Loads in to windows then

After closing an application, my system becomes unresponsive to any input for
3 to 4 seconds.  The mouse pointer moves, but doesn't respond to clicks.  
Also cannot type anything on the keyboard.  When the system "wakes up" the
mouse clicks and keyboard input does not appear.
