i can start up my computer....it loads Windows...but then the moniter goes
blank with amessage saying out of range...please help me!!!!! I've tried
running it in safe mode to get in and have a look, but the same thing....as
soon as it loads up it goes blank.

I jus can not understand where it all went. It keeps going even if i do not
do put anything on it. And i ahve 31 GB and am down to 3 GB and there is
hardly any programs even on my hard drive. When i try and remove some
programs i look ands see even if i delted every single ...

I have already consulted a Windows XP expert on this problem.  He agrees that
this is not an indication of a virus or any form of file corruption.  He
feels that these PopUps are an indication of missing operating system files.  
Your help would be appreciated to rid myself of ...

i wanted to wipe my system but theres no delete option, its there but not
enabled.

When i try and defrag y ain disk it will not let me. It says "chkdsk /f is
scheduled to run on volume c" and when i do that ti won;t let me. Now i
though maybe it was just going to do it one time but i've tried nuerous times
over past month what is the probelm?

Here's the scenario:  A Friend of mine a couple years back bought a Sony

it has plenty of memory (512Mb) and and an 80GB disk (which for him is

as normal, it makes all the normal sounds etc. but when i try to play music

programs like spam filtering and the like, the performance of my PC goes to
hell.  While watching Task Manager, I can see that Outlook.exe takes up to

I was wondering how would I unistall or delete program files from old users

I recently used a recovery disk that came with my laptop, which restores it
to the default state. It automatically formats the drive to FAT32, however,
and I would like to make it NTFS. It's my understanding though that if you
just convert it, it uses default cluster sizes of 512 ...
