Hi Forum,
According to thread of 3/6/07, my question is this, what does it mean when
an error comes up saying the following: BAD_POOL_HEADER? I have already been
to google and asked it, there is a lot of explanations. But for an individual

Hello, Today I started getting this pop up error message and I don't
know how to get rid of it.  I've tried researching it but haven't found
any solid answers on what it is and how to remove it.  Has anyone ever
had this before or do you know what it is and how I can get rid of it.

Two computers recently commissioned and attached to a Win2003 server are
showing very slow startup. They may take up to 45 minutes to get through the
'Applying Computer Settings' stage, in normal mode. In safe mode, this step
is done in less than three seconds.

I've Intel P-4 with 512 MB Ram, on Asus P4-VP MX, shared video memory
32 mb.
I've installed Windows XP  (c: 12.1GB,4gb free) & Windows 98 (4.93GB,

I run XP Home Edition. This is what happens:
- When sending mail with any of Outlook 2003, Outlook Express or Eudora the
network connection locks up, the msg stays in the outbox, no other

For some reason, there is NO 'MS Search' upon clicking on
'Search' at the top.   Instead, there is 'Live Search' that is quite
similar to 'MS Search,' however I prefer to get 'MS Search'
back.

I installed Norton 2007 on a year old Athlon 64 3700+ computer with 1 gig of
ram and the computer was running fine before I installed the Norton, but now
it takes about 10 minutes to fully boot up.  After it does boot the computer
runs fine.  Just looking for some help.

I have a Dell about 3 years old with a 145 GB HD with 76% free space. Last
year I had viruses and successfully got rid of all of them. I have Norton,
Ad-Aware and Defender. I have updated to IE7, had XPSP1 and updated to XPSP2.

I'm trying to mirror a 150GB basic disk onto a 250GB dynamic disk (space on
the dynamic disk is unallocated).
When I right-click on the basic disk, the Add Mirror command isn't listed in
the context menu.
